Campaigner and Advocate
Geoff is a passionate campaigner for breaking the stigma associated with Mental Health in the corporate world. He has participated in a number of BBC programmes and campaigns on this subject, and is regularly featured in interviews and podcasts on the subject, and has written a number of articles for newspapers and journals.
In 2016 Geoff convened a meeting at No 10 Downing Street with David Cameron and CEOs from FTSE 100 Companies, to address their role and agree actions to challenge the way mental health issues are perceived in business.
He has also provided some support to the Royal Foundation (the primary philanthropic and charitable vehicle for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex) in their Heads Together mental health campaign, and recently had the opportunity to engage with Pope Francis on how we can create a more sustainable and inclusive economy through his involvement with the Global Foundation.

“Driving home the clear message that business has an ethical responsibility to support the mental health and well-being of its people. It’s not a ‘nice to have’, it’s essential, it’s not ‘we’ll do something about it soon’, it’s ‘do it NOW’.”

“Our goal with this event was to kickstart an incredibly important conversation for the L&D profession in Ireland. You… have given our members the belief that they can positively influence change and the courage to start to do something about it.”
Kevin Hannigan – HPC Global
